A time I really laughed:
I like to remember a funny story from my spring vacations. It was February. Piles of snow everywhere. I was in the fifth class at the elementary school . Together with my sister and my cousin Lukas we were having a great time at my grandmother´s in the village. We were sleighing and snowballing everyday. But the huge piles of snow inspired us to build a house from snow so we did. We gathered the snow from granny´s garden and were building the house for three days. It was hard work as the snow was wet.
We were proud of our job and were looking forward to inviting our parents to our snow house on Saturday when they were to take us home. We put a carpet on the floor, brought in several chairs and decorated the snow walls with pine branches. The D-day had finally come. As we and our parents entered the snow house Lukas´s father, who was the last to come in, slipped on the ice in front of the snow house and trying not to fall hit the wall of the snow house hard. After this impact the house fell on us and covered us with ice and snow.
We couldn´t stop laughing as we all looked like snowmen.

Something I wish I could do:
I have many dreams and wishes. I wish I could visit Rome, because it is very interesting city with many historical sights. In Rome I'd like to visit the following places, for example :
Basilica St. Peter's, Square St. Peter, Spanish Steps, Castel Sant´ Angelo, Fountain Di Trevi, Sistine Chapel, Coloseum ...

One of the most important reasons of my visit would be that Rome is the seat of the Pope.
Moreover, if I were in Rome, I would taste Italian pizza and spaghetti. I would also do shopping and I would buy a stylish leather bag, a pair of shoes and some souvenirs for my family. Finally, I would learn a few Italian words, for example "arrivederci, grazie, si, per favore, mamma mia….."
I am sure that I would really enjoy the visit of Rome.

My interests:
I have a lot of hobbies and when I have free time I devote myself to the following activities :
I enjoy making things, so I do clay modeling. I collect stamps, too.
Then I like drawing pictures. When I need exercise, I do sports.
As I sit a lot at school, so in my free time I like walking. Walking in the open air is relaxing for me. I like going to the park. I also enjoy going to movies. Then I like visiting museums and art galleries. I like going to large parties with plenty of food and drink.
Furthermore I enjoy social games like chess, draughts and cards. I prefer watching team games such as volleyball. Finally, I prefer individual sports, for example, running and cycling.

English language in Slovak school:
Last years in our schools one of the foreign languages is the main subject, mostly English language. In the world there are about two milliard people speaking English language. It´s very important for pupils because they have to make oneself understood with people in other countries. In these days there are many foreign business companies in Slovakia. When someone wanna get a good job with good money he needs perfectly understand his work and maybe needs to present his company abroad and he needs to speak English very well.
But English isn´t important just for work …
When someone goes somewhere on holiday they can rely on themselves. They are able to understand foreign people with no problems.
English is a global language used for business in the world. We live in a global world where boundaries exist only on the maps so it is very essential than young people learn English at young age.

Runaway Bride:
Runaway Bride is a romantic comedy film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere and directed by Garry Marshall.
Julia Roberts plays Maggie Carpenter, a spirited and attractive young woman that has a number of unsuccessful relationships. Maggie, afraid of being married, has left a trail of boyfriends. Indeed, she has left three men waiting for her in a church on their wedding day (all of which are caught on tape ), receiving tabloid fame and the dubious nickname ´´ Runaway Bride .´´
This was one of my favourite movies two years ago. It´s a romantic comedy and at that time I really liked comedies. The story is interesting and, of course, it has happy end. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere made this movie even more interesting. It is like Pretty Woman which is really my favourite movie. I would recommend it especially to girls who like romantic movies with happy end and who like to cry. But if you want to spend evening with really interesting movie , choose another one and watch this one with your boyfriend or girlfriend.
