My name is David Činčera and this is my online enviroment. Here, you will find basic information about my education, achievements, skills, and my contact information.
About MeI'm currently in my last year at Ján Adam Rayman grammar school in Prešov. I consider myself a versatile person, a jack of all trades if you will, with an interest in both the humanities and natural sciences. I am a creative, empathetic person who enjoys learning new things, and who prefers a dynamic work environment including working with people.
In the future, I'd like to work in the audiovisual industry, for example in marketing or production. Ever since I was a kid, I've been interested in what goes into creating a YouTube video, or, later on, a film. I learned how to edit, use a camera, shoot with a drone, and later, I shot my first project with my classmates. In addition, I've always had a strong connection to all kinds of art, which may have strengthened my enthusiasm for a creative profession as well.
View my projectsIn July 2025, I participated in a workshop at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava called "Summer School of Film Language," where I spent 14 days attending lectures by various professors at the faculty, people from the industry, and various other guests. I also tried my hand at producing, directing, and shooting my own short film. My output from this workshop was a graduation film, which ranked 9th out of 27 in the participant evaluation.
I am a graduate of the private elementary art school DAMA and I play the guitar. I always wanted to play in a band, so when I started high school, I formed a school band with my classmates. Thanks to this, I have played at various events, including Prešov City Days, Prešov Region Days, the DAMA festival, the Lux Mentium awards ceremony, and countless other performances.
With the school band, we participated several times in the annual competition "I Sing in French." In 2024, together with singer Veronika Kováčová, we managed to achieve our highest ranking so far. After winning 2nd place in the regional round in Košice, we made it to the national finals in Banská Bystrica and won 3rd place with our own remake of the song "Ça m'ennuie pas!"
