Archery

I have been shooting with a bow since I was seven years old. Although I recently took a break for almost two years, I have returned to shooting. However, I have changed my competitive focus a little. From indoor archery - shooting in a sports hall at a fixed distance (children 10 meters, adolescents and adults 18 meters) and a "classic" round target - I switched to 3D archery (competitions take place in the forest on a specially constructed course with rubber animal models as targets, where the distance to each target is unknown). I am a member of the Prešov Archery Club (LKPO), which we founded shortly after COVID. This year, we co-organized the European Championships in 3D archery together with the Spišské Vlachy club (main organizer) and Dobšiná. Although I am not very satisfied with my performance this year, I am taking away a lot of experiences and new friends - that's what events like this are all about...

Achievements:

• Slovak Indoor Archery Championships 2018 - 2nd place
• Slovak Indoor Archery Championships 2019 - 1st place
• Slovak Indoor Archery Championships 2020 - 2nd place
• Slovak 3D Archery Championships 2024 - 3rd place
• World Championships (held in Austria) in 3D archery - 3rd place
