Hobbies

Travelling

It's not exactly a hobby, but I usually find long car or train journeys to be an enjoyable way to spend my time. I also enjoy visiting museums in large cities, even though there aren't many things that interest me there. I also have a long list of places I plan to visit in the future. Here are a few photos from my trips, hopefully there will be more someday.

Music

When it comes to music, I like metal and rock, as I have been listening to them since childhood. I know it's not very popular these days, but many of the older generations are really big fans, which I have confirmed at several concerts, as I have had the opportunity to see several bands live recently. I like the energy of this type of music, although I prefer bands that play more melodic songs. My favorites are: Iron Maiden, Halloween, Ad infinitum, Vision of Atlantis...
On the other hand, I've recently become interested in K-pop. I'm not a fan of saccharine pop songs, but there are some bands within this genre whose music is really something else—it's dynamic, well-crafted, and the lyrics contain coherent sentences that have a really profound effect in the overall context. My favorites are Ateez and Stray Kids.
Yes, I know, they are two totally unrelated genres, but that's okay, you have to be open-minded :).

Sports

Between school and other activities, I always try to find time for exercise. I really enjoy skiing and used to go to the gym regularly, but for over a year now I've had problems with my spine (probably from archery), so now I only do lighter exercises using my own body weight from time to time. I also planned to try kickboxing this year, but after the European Championships in 3D archery, things didn't look too good for me, so I decided to get my back treated and am currently undergoing rehabilitation. Next year, I'm looking forward to the World Championships in Miskolc, Hungary, so I hope it will be better by then, and kickboxing isn't going anywhere.
