My
professional
web page
Welcome, my name is Samuel Miščík
and you are currently on my professional page,
where you can find out a little bit more about me
If I decided to go the sport route, my plan would probably be as follows. I would take a year off between high school and college, focus only on improving and getting noticed either on the A-team or better clubs. I would try to move up to a higher league with my team. If this year went well and I really improved rapidly and got invitations to other clubs, I would probably continue playing hockey and start college with a focus on coaching. If I found out I wasn't up to it, despite the disappointment, I would have to quit hockey and start college, probably majoring in computer science.
+I do what I enjoy
+I'll work fewer hours
+I'll move = health
+pay if I get into a good league
-injuries (can ruin my career)
-traveling and moving
-stress
-high risk of failure
If I decided to go straight to college, I would probably have to quit hockey, which is a big part of my life. By graduating with a degree in computer science and math and going to college straight out of high school, I would also be applying to harder and more prestigious schools in Slovakia and certainly abroad with a focus on computer science. If I got accepted to the school I wanted to go to, of course I would try to graduate from it and then look for a job in the pli I graduated from.
+stable, low risk
+less stress
+more opportunities
+pay
+little chance of injury
+more work opportunities
-lots of computer time
-paying for accommodation (if I go abroad to study)
-lots of studying
-more working hours
